August Rush

I cant believe August is already half way over! It has been fun filled. A trip to the Orange County Fair, some good shows and eats, DJing 5 nights a week, hikes around LA and more.





I know I just got back from SF, but Im ready to go on another mini vacation. Im thinking Palm Springs for a few days. I found a good deal on the hotel there Ace swimming club. Its only $70 a night. ACE Palm Springs

Summer is almost over, considering it hasnt even been hot it didnt even really feel like one!

Interpol Comes Back

Interpol is back! Unfortunately Carlos D has left the band. Im not sure if I can adapt to this, but Im giving it a shot. They are touring as well, here are the local dates. Im thinking Vegas for sure!

Good times were had

So the trip up north was a big success!










Highlights

-Getting free bikes at our hotel and riding around our amazing area
-The spicy crab from Chinatown featured on Food Networks Best Thing I Ever Ate
-The smores pie from the Buckeye Roadhouse also featured on that show
-7 mile hike through Muir Woods, Stinson Beach and Mt Tamalpais State park!
-The best mussels and ahi tuna at Plouf, a cute seafood french place by Union Square
-Jaw dropping Indian fusion food at Avatars, INDIAN enchiladas!!!


Im happy we decided to stay where we did, it was super quiet and peaceful, felt like a small New England town, but was only 10 miles to the hustle and bustle of the city. I HIGHLY recommend staying in Mill Valley!

If your going to....

Its been decided! We are going to SAN FRANCISCO tomorrow!



I found an amazing deal on this newly remodeled hotel not in the city but right on the other side of Golden Gate Bridge in Mill Valley, a little of the best of both worlds. Plan on doing some hiking, swimming and picture taking. There is also a chance of seeing MGMT in Oakland! Heres some pics of the place were stayin

Summer days drifting away

Today was the perfect day at the beach, we started out with fish and chips at Malibu Seafood company, complete with a sighting of Alcide the new hottest addition to True Blood!



My friend Jason recommended going to El Matador which is at the tail end of Malibu. This beach is a secret LA treasure, where the opening sequence of GREASE was filmed. The sun shined bright and the water was nice and cold. The people were friendly and we had a great time laying out and catching the rays. Heres a pic I snapped



Had some new and old friends over for BBQ, looking forward to Club Dance and vacation to ???? this week.

No Doubt

Im happy to see Gwen and the boys hard at work with their next album! There is about 6 tracks finished, including a song called 'One More Summer'. That may be how long we have to wait, rumor has it the album wont be released till sometime in 2011. That would make it 10 years since Rock Steady! No more 10 year breaks!

Entry 1

So this is my first entry and hopefully one of many! Summer is in full effect and theres lots going on so why not post it online?
To start off I have a NEW LOGO!



Thanks to my friend Donnie who also designed my Tardy for the Party flyer. Speaking of that crazy night, I think its about time for me to do another one. Theres only one question, when? Im already out 5 nights a week.

Last night was a memorable evening of seeing La Roux at Club Nokia and Club Tigerheat. Ellie was sick and kept apologizing but she sounded fine so she she would have been better off not mentioning it. Things didnt really pick up energy wise until she commanded everyone to dance for 'Colorless Colour'. If she had said that in the beginning and really kept up the positive vibes she could have held her audience the whole time. But I guess if your not in high spirits you can only do so much.

After La Roux we headed to Tigerheat where we ran into long time fellow club goer and myspace superstar Jeffree Star. People may have different opinions about him but he is really a nice person. It was good catching up and laughing about him busting out his IPAD at the club
